Eddie's Pizza Cafe

Eddie's Pizza Cafe was born in Stockton, California, on April 11, 1978 in an historical building at 1419 South El Dorado Street. The restaurant that had formerly been at that location since the 1930's, Eddie's Coffee Shop, had been a favorite of George Badway and other Stocktonians for many years. When Geroge bought the property and started a small pizza café, Badway kept the well-known name for this popular location.

From 1978 until today, the business has thrived by serving high-quality products to families and businesses in the neighborhoods surrounding the four locations. In addition, the General Managers at each store follow good business practices and carefully direct safe and courteous service to customers. Badway says " We've learned to never cut corners and never compromise on quality. You can buy a cheaper pizza in Stockton but you can't buy a pizza of Eddie's quality for less money."

From its beginning, the company has maintained family-oriented restaurants. The four locations are well lit, seating is comfortable and family dine-in specials are regularly featured.

In 1990, Eddie's became one of the early full-service restaurants to begin home delivery service. In 1994, the company brought out the "Big Ed", a 24" giant pizza, great for parties! Throughout its history, Eddie's has offered special dinner packages, including salads and other side dishes in high value family meals. Eddie's puts customers first by delivering high quality ingredients and keeping the original dough, ranch and pizza sauce recipe that George Badway invented in the 70's!
